The use of special ERP software properly configured to take full advantage of the company’s business resources, was a key investment to maximize work efficiency and proper planning for its activities. An important innovation is the ability for pharmacists to send their orders electronically at any time of the day for faster service. The availability of all functions and capabilities provided by ERP software, is implemented using dual and interchangeable Servers, which are powered by a constant supply (UPS, generator).
The storage areas have a temperature monitoring system, as well as a cooling chamber with special temperature conditions to comply with the necessary medicine storage standards. They also have an automatic high-tech order separation system (Auto-pickers), reducing the time of execution of orders and their shipment.
With the constant update of the equipment and the facilities, the company “GEORGE FRONAS SA” covers the needs of pharmacies with greater speed, more consistency and of course greater security.
The safety of employees and products is a key corporate concern and is therefore integrated into the design of the facilities. More specifically, state–of–the–art systems are used that provide:
– Fire protection
– Building Access Control. Access control at every point of the premises.
– Indoor and outdoor cameras that record 24 hours a day.
– Stable environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, lighting) controlled by Building Management System.
The automation of the tasks is up to 80%. From the receipt of the products to the placement of the order on the loading ramp, the processes are carried out automatically with state-of-the-art machines.
